On the 11th April an unexpected invitation from Madeline Moon to visit 10 Downing Street for myself and two guests to attend a special evening reception at 6pm. Ruth, Peggy and myself went up to London on the 9am coach attended the reception and stayed the night in a hotel. Madeline met us outside No 10 and when inside she took us on a full tour of the building which was fantastic. She then introduced us to Mr Brown and his wife Sarah, Madeline explained what Sandville has to offer, he asked so many questions it was a very humbling experience. Official photographs were taken and this topped what was a very interesting day which I am sure we will never forget.
